MANX WHALE AND DOLPHIN WATCH

Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch have been awarded a grant of £2000 to help with the setting up of a land-based surveyor network.

Three half-day workshops have now been held, with 54 people receiving training on how to identify local species and their behaviour, using a compass to plot the distance and bearing of a sighting, and the filling out of recording forms.
